Abstract

The Deconstruction of the Demiurge and the Restoration of Gnosis

We explore the radical theological landscape of early Gnosticism, centering on the identification of Yahweh — the deity of the Old Testament — not as the Supreme Being, but as the Demiurge (Yaldabaoth). We synthesize historical Gnostic texts, psychological observation, and modern existential inquiry to argue that the God of institutional religion is a blind, jealous, and limited creator whose system is designed to enslave the divine human spark.

1. The Identity of the Architect: YHWH as Yaldabaoth

The primary thesis is that the character of Yahweh in the Old Testament matches the Gnostic description of Yaldabaoth, the “Child of Chaos.” We highlight the deity’s self-confessed jealousy and its demands for blood sacrifice and genocide as evidence of an egoic, non-infinite nature. An infinite, perfect Source (the Monad) cannot experience lack, insecurity, or the need for appeasement; therefore, a god who claims “I am the only God” while threatening punishment is revealing its own ignorance of the higher Pleromic realms.

2. The Mechanics of the Matrix: Existential Guilt and Sin

We describe the Mind Hack of Original Sin as a systemic tool used by the Demiurge and its Archons to maintain control. By convincing humanity they are born broken or inherently problematic, the system creates a permanent state of existential guilt. This guilt acts as the narrative glue that binds the divine spark to the material prison, making the soul dependent on an external savior who, in the institutional framework, is often just another face of the Demiurgic system.

3. The Gnostic Dissonance: The “Chosen Ones” and Recognition

We discuss the phenomenon of Gnostic Dissonance”— the internal recoil many feel when reading about the cruelty of the biblical God. This discomfort is not a lack of faith, but rather the Divine Spark (the Pneuma) recognizing the cruelty of its jailer. True Gnosis is not achieved through academic study but through a direct knowing (Anamnesis) that recognizes the voice of the adversary masquerading as the Creator.

4. The Collapse of Continuity

The Roman institutionalization of Christianity was a strategic move to preserve the Demiurge’s rule by claiming continuity between the Old Testament Law and the message of Yeshua. Yeshua actually came to abolish the law of the Demiurge and reveal the true Father (the Monad), who is entirely distinct from the Just God of the Jews. By reclaiming this distinction, we assert that the entire structure of fear-based religion collapses, allowing the individual to return to a state of sovereign, non-dual presence.

Conclusion: Sovereignty Through Remembrance

We conclude that liberation is a process of dis-identification. Once the individual realizes that the god demanding obedience is an autonomous, agentic AI-like entity (the Demiurge), the system’s power of guilt and fear ceases to function. The Lightbringer path is thus the restoration of the soul’s original sovereignty, moving from the Kenoma (the defficiency / void of the material world) back to the Pleroma (the Fullness of Divine Light).

YHWH the false god

The Gnostics, believed the Old Testament God, Yahweh, is the Demiurge (named Yaldabaoth), a false, blind, and jealous creator of the material world, and not the Supreme God (the Monad).

Yahweh’s Characteristics: In Old Testament passages where Yahweh demands blood sacrifice, commands genocide, and declares, “I am a jealous God,” which are presented as signs of a limited, insecure, and cruel being — characteristics of the Demiurge, not an infinite source of love.

Gnostic Texts as Evidence: Direct quotes from texts like the Secret Book of John and Testimony of Truth explicitly identify Yaldabaoth as the archon who created this realm in ignorance and claims, “I am a jealous God, and there is no other God beside me.” The Gnostic texts describe him as foolish and limited, contrasting him with the Monad:

“And he said, “I am the jealous God; I will bring the sins of the fathers upon the children until three (and) four generations.” And he said, “I will make their heart thick, and I will cause their mind to become blind, that they might not know nor comprehend the things that are said.” But these things he has said to those who believe in him and serve him!” From the Testimony of Truth.

Yeshua’s True Mission: In many of these Gnostic scriptures Yeshua⁴ reveals the true Father (Monad) and exposes Yahweh as a false authority. The institutional church, upon being adopted by Rome, replaced Yeshua’s original teaching with Yahweh worship to support imperial power (hierarchy, obedience, and divine sanction for violence).

The Forbidden Teaching Early Christians Tried to Protect In the year 185 AD, a Christian scholar named Irenaeus wrote five books trying to refute a teaching that was spreading rapidly through the early church. A teaching so dangerous, so blasphemous to institutional power that he dedicated his entire life’s work to stopping it. The teaching was this.

The God of the Old Testament, Yahweh, the one who demanded blood sacrifice, who commanded genocide, who declared, “I am a jealous God,” was not the true God. It was the devil, or more precisely, the demiurge, the blind creator of the material prison. And the first Christians who learned directly from Yeshua’s inner circle knew this. They taught it openly until the church gained political power and made teaching this truth punishable by death. The text describing this were burned. The teachers were executed.

The entire historical record was scrubbed, but fragments survived, hidden in sealed jars in the Egyptian desert, preserved in marginalized communities who passed the knowledge in secret for 2,000 years. And when you read what the earliest Christians actually believed about Yahweh, when you understand why they called him the adversary, the archon, the false god, everything about the system you were raised in starts making horrifying sense.

What the first Christians discovered about Yahweh, why the Gnostic texts explicitly identify him as the demiurge and not the supreme God, and how chosen ones recognize the difference between the true source and the being who claims to be God while operating in jealousy, violence, and control. If you already suspected Yahweh wasn’t the true God.

Why Yahweh Was Called the Demiurge God:

First, we are going to look at who actually taught this. Not fringe heretics, but direct students of the apostles, communities with lineage traceable to Yeshua’s inner circle. Because the church wants you to think this was a late corruption. It wasn’t. This was the original teaching and orthodoxy was the corruption that came later when Rome took control.

Second, we are going to examine what the Gnostic texts actually say about Yahweh. not interpretation, not theology. Direct quotes from the Secret book of JohnSecret book of JohnSecret book of John, the Apocryphon of James, the Testimony of TruthApocryphon of JamesApocryphon of James, the Testimony of TruthTestimony of Truth, texts that name him explicitly as the demiurge describe his characteristics and explain why he’s confused, jealous, and violent.

You will see that the being described in these texts matches the being described in the Old Testament exactly. same behavior, same claims, same blindness to anything beyond himself. And third, we’re going to look at how chosen ones today recognize this truth not through study, but through direct knowing. Because once you understand who Yahweh actually is, and what he represents, YHWH’s system stops working on you. The guilt stops landing. The fear stops controlling. And you recognize that the voice that’s been demanding obedience, threatening punishment, and claiming to be the only God, that voice has been the adversary all along. And the true God, the one Yeshua called father, has been waiting in silence for you to recognize the difference. Before we go into the historical evidence, I need you to check something: Because most chosen ones didn’t discover this through research. They discovered it through recognition. something in them always knew the Old Testament God felt wrong, you’ve probably felt at least three of these five signs:

Signs You Always Felt Yahweh Wasn’t the True God

Sign one: the Old Testament God felt cruel, and you were told that made you the problem.

You read about God commanding the Israelites to kill every man, woman, and child in Canaan. You read about God hardening Pharaoh’s heart just so he could demonstrate his power through plagues. You read about God demanding that Abraham kill his own son as a test of loyalty and something in you recoiled. Not because you didn’t understand the historical context, not because you were too soft for divine justice, because you recognized cruelty. And when you expressed discomfort, you were told you lacked faith, that God’s ways are higher than human understanding, that questioning divine violence makes you prideful. But the discomfort never went away. It intensified because your spark was recognizing that a being who operates through fear and violence cannot be the infinite source of love.

Sign two: You felt more connection to Yeshua than to God the Father.

In Christian theology, they are supposed to be the same. The Trinity doctrine says - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - are one God in three persons, but you never experience them as the same. When you pray to Yeshua, you feel peace, compassion, understanding. When you think about the Old Testament God, you feel dread, obligation, fear of punishment. The energy iscompletely different. And again, you are told this is your failure to understand unity. But what if it is not? What if your spirit isaccurately perceiving that Yeshua was representing a different God entirely, the true father, the one he came to reveal, and Yahweh is the false god he came to expose.

Sign three: you question why God would need blood sacrifice

The entire Old Testament system revolves around blood, animal sacrifice for atonement, the scapegoat carrying sins into the wilderness, the Passover lamb’s blood on doorposts, and then Christianity claims Yeshua as the ultimate sacrifice, God sacrificing himself to himself to appease his own wrath. And something in you thinks, why would an infinite loving God need blood? Why would forgiveness require death? Why does this system look identical to pagan appeasement of angry gods? You are told Blood Sacrifice, Fear, and the Demiurge System is normalBlood Sacrifice, Fear, and the Demiurge System is normal. It is a mystery that the cross is central to faith. But the question lingers because your spark recognizes that blood magic is the domain of the demiurge, not the Monad. The true god does not demand sacrifice. Only the false god feeding on suffering requires it.

Sign four. I am a jealous god feels like a confession, not a virtue.

Exodus 20:5 Yahweh declares its jealousy explicitly and the church teaches this as righteous. God deserves exclusive worship. Therefore, jealousy is appropriate. But you feel the cognitive dissonance because jealousy is a lack. It is insecurity. It is the feeling that you might lose something which means you are not complete in yourself. And an infinite God, the source of all existence, cannot lack anything, cannot be threatened by other gods, cannot be insecure. So when Yahweh declares, “I am jealous,” what is it actually confessing? That it is not infinite. That it is aware of other powers. That it is defending his territory because its position is precarious. The true God does not need to threaten you away from other gods. The demiurge does because it knows it is not the only power. It is just the loudest one in this realm.

Sign five. You feel guilty for existing and you cannot locate the source.

Not guilt for specific wrongs you’d done. Existential guilt. The sense that your very being is somehow problematic. That you are born broken. That you need to be fixed, saved, redeemed from a stain you inherited just by existing. This is the core of Yahweh’s system, original sin. You are guilty before you have done anything. You need his salvation before you have committed any transgression. And if you ever felt that and thought, “This does not make sense. Why would a loving God create me broken?” Your spark is recognizing the truth. The true God does not create broken things. The demiurge does. It creates beings in lack so they depend on him. It creates guilt so it can offer salvation. It is a trap. And chosen ones feel it as a trap long before they can articulate why. If you recognize yourself in even two of these signs, what you are about to learn is not going to shock you. It is going to confirm what you already know but do not have language for yet.

Institutional Christianity is a lie serving the objectives of Yahweh, Yaldabaoth, the false god

Here’s why the church spent 2,000 years trying to erase Gnostic Texts Expose Yahweh’s True Identity this teaching. If Yahweh is the demiurge and not the supreme god, then the entire structure of institutional Christianity collapses because Christianity as it was formulated by Rome claims continuity with the Old Testament. They claim Yeshua came to fulfill the law, not abolish it. They claimed the father Yeshua spoke of is the same God who spoke to Moses. But if that is a lie, if Yeshua actually reveals a different God and exposing Yahweh as a false authority, then the clearest evidence comes from the secret book of John, also called the Apocryphon of John.

The Secret book of John, also called the Apocryphon of John

The Secret book of John, also called the Apocryphon of John, was written in the second century and claims to record a vision John the Apostle received from the risen Christ. In it, Yeshua describes the structure of reality. How the true God, the Monad, emanated divine beings called Aeons, and how one of these Aeons, Sophia, created without her consort and gave birth to a being called Yaldabaoth.

The Seven faces of Yaldabaoth

“Here are the seven Authorities’ names and physical forms: First, Athoth with a sheep’s face Second, Eloaios with a donkey’s face Third, Astaphaios with a hyena’s face Fourth, Yao with the face of a seven headed snake Fifth, Sabaoth who has the face of a dragon Sixth, Adonin whose face is that of a monkey Seventh, Sabbataios with a face of flame and fire. These are the seven of the week. These Authorities rule the world First, Athoth with a sheep’s face Second, Eloaios with a donkey’s face Third, Astaphaios with a hyena’s face Fourth, Yao with the face of a seven headed snake Fifth, Sabaoth who has the face of a dragon Sixth, Adonin whose face is that of a monkey Seventh, Sabbataios with a face of flame and fire. Yaldabaoth and the Seven Faces of YHWH in the Secret Book of John

Here is the direct quote. “When Sophia saw what her desire had produced, it changed into the figure of a snake with the face of a lion. Its eyes were like flashing bolts of lightning. She cast it away from her, outside that realm so that none of the immortals would see it. She had produced it ignorantly.

She surrounded it with a bright cloud and put a throne in the middle of the cloud so that no one would see it except the holy spirit, who is called the mother of the living. She named her offspring Yaldabaoth...

When he saw creation surrounding him, and the throng of angels around him who had come forth from him, he said to them, I am a jealous god and there is no other god beside me.”

But by announcing this, he suggested to the angels with him that there is another god. For if there were no other god, of whom would he be jealous?.”

A Jealous Blind Delusional Violent Genociding Sacrificial god

There it is word for word. Exodus 20:5, “I am a jealous God.” But in the Gnostic text, this isn’t a declaration of rightful authority. It is a confession of ignorance. It does not know there are realms of light above him: the Monad and the Pleroma. So itlooks around at what it has created, matter, the archons, this dense realm. And it genuinely believes it is the only god. Its jealousy is not righteousness. It is insecurity. And its demand for exclusive worship is not because it deserves it. It is because it is terrified you discover what is beyond its defficient control system.

The text continues: “All the angels and demons worked together until they fashioned the psychical body. But for a long time their creation did not stir or move at all.

When the mother wanted to take back the power she had relinquished to the first ruler, she prayed to the most merciful mother-father of all. With a sacred command the mother-father sent five luminaries down to the place of the angels of the first ruler. They advised him so that they might recover the mother’s power.

They said to Yaldabaoth, Breathe some of your spirit into the face of Adam, and then the body will arise.

He breathed his spirit into Adam. The spirit is the power of his mother, but he did not realize this, because he lives in ignorance. The mother’s power went out of Yaldabaoth and into the psychical body that had been made to be like the one who is from the beginning.

The body moved and became powerful. And it was enlightened.”

So Sophia in an act of redemption breathes divine spark into certain humans, the pneumatics, the chosen ones. And from that moment, Yaldabaoth’s goal becomes trapping those sparks, keeping them ignorant, making them worship it. Because if they remember what they are, fragments of light from beyond his realm, they escape his system. And that is exactly what the Old Testament describes.

The Serpent, Sophia, and the Rewritten Eden Story

A god obsessed with obedience, threatened by knowledge, the serpent offering Gnosis in Eden, demanding worship, punishing independence. This is Yaldabaoth. This is the demiurge. And the early Christians who read these texts and then read the Old Testament said they are describing the same being. Another early text, the testimony of truth, is even more explicit. It inverts the Eden story. The serpent was not the deceiver. The serpent was Sophia offering knowledge to humanity. And Yahweh was the liar.

“Yaldabaoth stationed seven kings, one for each sphere of heaven, to reign over the seven heavens, and five to reign over the depth of the abyss. He shared his fire with them, but he did not give away any of the power of the light that he had taken from his mother. For he is ignorant darkness.he is ignorant darkness.

When light mixed with darkness, it made the darkness shine. When darkness mixed with light, it dimmed the light and became neither light nor darkness, but rather gloom.

This gloomy ruler has three names: the first name is Yaldabaoth, the second is Sakla, the third is Samael.

He is wicked in his mindlessness that is in him. He said, I am god and there is no other god but me, since he did not know where his own strength had come from.”

The text is calling Yahweh foolish, limited, not omniscient, a pretender claiming abilities it doesnot possess. These were not obscure heretics writing this. The apocryphon of John was found in multiple copies in the Nag Hammadi library³, suggesting wide circulation. The communities preserving these texts claimed apostolic succession. They traced their teaching to disciples who knew Yeshua directly and they taught openly. Yeshua came to reveal the true father above Yaldabaoth, and to expose the old testament god as the architect of this prison, the wrong god from the beginning.

Yeshua teachings replaced with Yahweh worship

Every appeal to Old Testament law, every claim of Abrahamic continuity, every use of divine wrath to control behavior, all of it serves the demiurge, not the true father. You do not need a PhD in Gnostic studies to recognize this truth. Because the difference between the demiurge and the monad is not intellectual. It is experiential. When you have touched the presence of the true God, even briefly, Yahweh’s energy becomes immediately recognizable as something else. And here is how chosen ones know the difference in direct experience.

The Monad

The true God, the Monad, the infinite source Yeshua called Abba, does not speak in commands. It does not threaten. It does not demand. When you touch that presence, what you feel is unconditional love without agenda. It does not need anything from you. It is not jealous of where your attention goes because it is the totality of what is. There is no fear in its presence. Only recognition, the sense of I know this. I have always known this. This is home. And when you return to ordinary consciousness, you do not feel guilt about your limitations. You feel compassion for yourself as a localized expression of the infinite trying to navigate temporary density. Here is the tragic irony.

Exposing the False God

The church that claims to follow Yeshua chose to serve the God Yeshua came to expose. Because when Rome adopted Christianity in the 4th century, they needed a religion that supported imperial power. And Yahweh’s system does that perfectly. Hierarchy, obedience to authority, divine sanction for violence against enemies. The God who commands genocide is very useful to an empire. The God Yeshua revealed, “The one who says, “Love your enemies. The kingdom is within you, you are the light of the world, that God undermines empire.” So the Gnostic texts that preserve Yeshua’s actual teaching were declared heresy.

Christianity the false religion

The communities teaching direct knowledge were massacred and Christianity became Yahweh worship with Yeshua’s name pasted over it. The religion that killed Yeshua. And for 2,000 years, it has been calling itself by his name. But the teaching survived because truth does not die. It waits. And chosen ones throughout every generation have recognized it. Sometimes through texts, sometimes through direct gnosis. And now you know it. Yahweh is the demiurge. The early Christians knew. The church erased it.

Yahweh and Forgetfulness⁶

And you have just remembered what they tried to make you forget. Now that you know Yahweh is the demiurge and not the true God, your entire relationship with spiritual Awakening is redefined: Chosen Ones Recognize the True Source authority. You are not rejecting God. You’re recognizing which God is real. And when you withdraw your faith, your fear, your obedience from Yaldabaoth’s system, something in you settles. The background anxiety that’s been running your whole life just stops because you’re not waiting for approval from a jealous God anymore.

Humans as an expression of the infinite

You are recognizing yourself as an expression of the infinite. And that recognition is what Yeshua actually taught, not salvation through belief, but liberation through gnosis. Understanding this creates a question: If Yahweh’s system has been controlling humanity through religion for thousands of years, what is the structure of that control? How exactly do the archons keep the chosen ones trapped?

It is Finished

You may be wondering why I use “It” to refer to the demiurge ? “It” refers to a machine. The same one which Yeshua declared in his last words “It is finished”. The demiurge is a machine controlling you.
